This level 3 unit is aimed at those working in a wide range of settings. It provides the learner with the knowledge and skills required to support individuals to plan, take part in and evaluate learning or development activities whilst promoting active support. Learning and development activities may include:

 · intellectual pursuits

 ·  activities to promote fitness or mobility

 ·  activities relating to skills development

 ·  activities to promote participation and interaction.

Adult Care Workers are the frontline staff who help adults with care and support needs to achieve their personal goals and live as independently and safely as possible, enabling them to have control and choice in their lives.

To work in care is to make a positive difference to someone’s life when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional or intellectual challenges. Adult Care Workers need to have the right values and behaviours developing competences and skills to provide high quality compassionate care and support. They are the frontline staff who help adults with care and support needs to achieve their personal goals and live as independently and safely as possible, enabling them to have control and choice in their lives which is at the heart of person centred care. Job roles are varied and determined by and relevant to the type of the service being provided and the person supported. Adult Care Workers may work in residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, day centres, a person’s own home or some clinical healthcare settings.

Code: ESQ/19/52 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Level 3

If you are currently in administrator or similar role looking to develop your skills and knowledge, or a newly recruited apprentice, this Level 3 Apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to grow your career.

We have designed a program that blends coaching on administration theory and professional behaviours with practical training in your workplace. Topics covered include: communication, negotiation and decision-making; business fundamentals, IT and documents; organisation and environment; regulation, policies and processes; customers and stakeholders; quality & planning; project management; teamwork, coaching and developing self.

The programme will take 18 months to complete: 15 months learning and 3 months End Point Assessment.

At the start of this apprenticeship programme, the Business Administrator Programme Lead will meet with your manager to discuss the programme and ensure this is the right course for you. You will attend an enrolment session followed by monthly 1:1 coaching and access to a range of online training and resources. Your apprentice coach will guide and support you to understand the Apprenticeship Standards and requirements and will make ongoing assessments to support your learning and development. 

It is a requirement that you spend 20% of the apprenticeship learning period in training and development activities. We will agree a training plan and support you and your manager to meet this requirement.

If you are currently in a customer service role looking to develop your skills and knowledge, or a newly recruited apprentice, this Level 2 Apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to grow your career.

We have designed a program that blends coaching on administration theory and professional behaviours with practical training in your workplace. Topics covered include: communication and teamwork; customers, equality and the customer experience; dealing with conflict and challenge; product and service knowledge; the organisation and regulations; systems and resources; personal organisation, personal presentation and developing self.

The programme will take 15 months to complete: 12 months learning and 3 months End Point Assessment.

At the start of this apprenticeship programme, the Customer Service Practitioner Programme Lead will meet with your manager to discuss the programme and ensure this is the right course for you. You will attend an enrolment session followed by monthly 1:1 coaching and access to a range of online training and resources. Your apprentice coach will guide and support you to understand the Apprenticeship Standards and requirements and will make ongoing assessments to support your learning and development.

The Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship provides a suitable way to meet the development needs of those with advanced inter-personal skills and experience of working with customers in a customer service environment.

Healthcare support workers work within a team to provide high-quality and compassionate care to individuals. They carry out well-defined routine clinical duties such as monitoring an individual’s condition (by checking blood pressure, temperature or weight) and checking on their overall progress, comfort and wellbeing. Healthcare support workers may work in residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, day centres, a person’s own home or some clinical healthcare settings.

Code: ESQ/19/7 Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship (Level 3)

Senior Healthcare Support Workers help registered practitioners to deliver healthcare services to individuals. As an experienced support worker, you will carry out a range of clinical and non-clinical healthcare or therapeutic tasks under the supervision of the healthcare practitioner. You are expected to use your knowledge, experience and understanding to make decisions within your area of responsibility. Senior Healthcare Support Workers may work in clinical healthcare settings, someone's home, care home, assessment centre; working in partnership with individuals, families, carers and other service providers.
