Code: ESQ/17/24 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship (Level 3)

N.B. Exisiting ESCC Apprentices moving from Level 2 to Level 3 will not need to complete an eligiblity form.

Lead Adult Care Workers are expected to exercise judgement and take appropriate action to support individuals to maintain their independence, dignity and control. They are at the front line of care delivery and may have delegated responsibility and supervise the work of other care workers. Lead Adult Care Workers may work in residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, day centres or some clinical healthcare settings.

Code: ESQ/18/28 Business Administration Intermediate Level Apprenticeships - Level 2 2018

Administration support staff may work in children's centres, schools, call centres or healthcare receptions as well as in central office hubs. They need to have the right values and behaviours and need to develop competences and skills to provide high quality service and support to their teams. An apprenticeship can provide an opportunity to develop current competences and to learn new skills, even if you are already working in an administrative post.

When you return your completed eligibility form to ESQAC@eastsussex.gov.uk we will identify an assessor to support and guide you through your programme. 

We will contact you confirm an appropriate apprenticeship level and start date.

Code: ESQ/18/20 Business Administrator Apprenticeship - Level 3 (2018)

Administrators may work in children's centres, schools, call centres or healthcare receptions as well as in central office hubs. They need to have the right values and behaviours and need to develop competences and skills to provide high quality service and support to their teams. An apprenticeship can provide an opportunity to develop current competences and to learn new skills, even if you are already working in an administrative post.

The Business Administrator Apprenticeship learning programme takes approximately 15 months. This is followed by 'gateway preparation' for an external End Point Assessment. Altogether the apprenticeship should typically be completed within 18 months.

ESQAC offer the learning support needed to achieve this Apprenticeship through a blended learning approach which includes resources, guided reading, research and coaching. Each Individual Learning Plan is tailored to the needs of the Apprentice and the Employer. We also support apprentices into their End Point Assessment with an external assessor.

The programme starts with an introduction to learning in the training centre. This introduces the ESQAC structure and learning policies as well as setting up an Ecordia e-portfolio for evidence. An assessor will meet with the apprentice each month to provide guidance and support, as well as regular reviews. You can see the apprenticeship standards and assessment plan here

The Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship provides a suitable way to meet the development needs of those working at level 2 in a customer service environment. In addition to building confidence and skills to improve career opportunities in customer support services, career pathways for those achieving this level 2 apprenticeship could include applying for progression to a level 3 Apprenticeship for a Customer Service Specialist and then on to Leadership and Management.

Code: ESQ/18/2 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeships - Level 3 (2018)

The Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship provides a suitable way to meet the development needs of those with advanced inter-personal skills and experience of working with customers in a customer service environment.

In addition to building confidence and skills in customer service roles, career pathways for those achieving this level 3 apprenticeship could include applying for progression to Leadership and Management Apprenticeship.
