Administrators may work in children's centres, schools, call centres or healthcare receptions as well as in central office hubs. An apprenticeship can provide an opportunity to develop current competences and to learn new skills, even if you are already working in an administrative post.

The Business Administrator Apprenticeship learning programme takes 12 months. This is followed by external End Point Assessment and together they should typically be completed within 15 months.  ESQAC offer the learning support needed to achieve this Apprenticeship through a 12-month blended learning approach which includes resources, guided reading and research, learning sets and coaching. Each Individual Learning Plan is tailored to the needs of the Apprentice and the Employer. We also support apprentices into their End Point Assessment with an external assessor.

The programme starts with a two-day induction in the classroom. This introduces the ESQAC structure and learning policies as well as setting up an Ecordia e-portfolio for evidence. An assessor will meet with the apprentice each month to provide guidance and support, and group sessions offered during the year provide development and learning. You can see the apprenticeship standards and assessment plan here
